DESCRIPTION
With the La Aurora DNA Training Kit, you’ll learn to recognise and identify a wide variety of notes and flavours in cigar smoke.
- Articel-Nr.: 4555-0002 Don’t all cigars taste the same?
Professional cigar tasters detect a wide variety of different flavours and aromas whilst enjoying a cigar. Many people think this is nonsense, and that tobacco simply tastes of tobacco. But if that were true, what would be the difference between different cigars? Why do you prefer one particular cigar over another? Because not all cigars taste the same, and because the subtle differences and nuances make all the difference. Being able to perceive these subtleties and nuances is a matter of practice.Cigar Training Kit
La Aurora, a cigar manufacturer from the Dominican Republic, is launching the La Aurora DNA Training Kit – the second training kit for cigars on the market – designed to help aficionados develop and refine their sensory skills. The set contains a box of four ‘Pure Grade’ cigars in the Corona format. ‘Pure Grade’, also known as ‘Perritos’, are cigars made from a single variety of tobacco, enabling experts to test the quality of the leaves and the fermentation stage. In addition, they can build on this base flavour and decide which tobaccos to add to the final blend.La Aurora DNA Cigars
With the name ADN, which means DNA in Spanish, La Aurora highlights its close ties to the Dominican Republic. Tabacalera La Aurora is the oldest cigar manufacturer on the island and has launched a unique cigar range with the ADN. The La Aurora ADN cigar was unveiled at InterTabac in 2017. What makes this cigar special is the fermentation technique used for the filler. After drying, the tobacco leaves are wrapped in palm leaves and then tightly compressed with ropes. This gives the tobacco an aromatic, sweet and earthy note, lending the cigar an unmistakable flavour. Pipe tobacco has been produced using this method of fermentation in the Dominican Republic for over 500 years.Expert tip
If you really want to appreciate all the nuances in a cigar, let the smoke pass through your nose. This is because the nose detects many aromas and flavours that the palate misses REVIEWS

Es fehlt jegliche Anleitung. Von Training also keine Spur. Der Feueranzünder geht nicht. Die Minizigarren sind von Anfang an nur sehr stark. Das kann ich für ein Trainigskit nicht nachvollziehen und sicher nicht empfehlen.
