Volcanic soil and a sophisticated blend of different tobaccos
To understand what makes the Inspirado Red so exceptional, one must recognise the key role the environment plays in the development of extraordinary tobacco varieties. The Ecuadorian Habano Ligero, which originates from rich volcanic soil and is characterised by spicy and full-bodied notes, offers intense hints of dark fruit and black pepper. But the story doesn’t end there. The Nicaraguan Jalapa wrapper is enveloped by three incredible filler tobaccos, which become even more flavourful thanks to their long ageing. Having been aged for twelve, ten and five years respectively, the Nicaraguan Ometepe, Honduran Jamastran and Nicaraguan Jamastran fillers provide a sophisticated counterpoint to the bold spices of the wrapper, resulting in a cigar that lacks neither intensity nor sophistication.

Gar nicht so stark
Sie ist zwar stärker als die Green der Reihe aber trotzem nicht so stark wie es die Beschreibung vermuten lassen würde. Die Aromen sind sehr präsent und gut ausgewogen. Etwas pfeffrig, ja, aber nicht scharf. Leichte Würze mit mitschwingender Süsse runden das Aroma ab. Für mich eine wunderbare Zigarre. Gut kombiniert, technisch auch einwandfrei mit kräftigem Aroma ohne Zungenbiss. Klare Kaufempfehlung
