Mare Nostrum Robusto Set

"Mare Nostrum is the latest creation from my workshop in Estelí. The name pays tribute to the Mediterranean Sea (Latin: ‘Mare Nostrum’), which I can see from my balcony in the mornings at my second home in Barcelona,” says the Spanish-Nicaraguan master blender, Daniel Guerrero.
The design of the boxes has a distinctly nautical feel. What makes them special is that the individual boxes have been hand-painted.
The blend is very exciting. We have used tobaccos from three regions of Nicaragua, as well as a pinch of CuBra from Brazil.
Due to the small harvests of Habano Oscuro wrapper leaves, the run of this new series is limited.

About Daniel Guerrero

The Spanish-Nicaraguan master blender, Daniel Guerrero, draws on his 30 years’ experience in the world of premium tobacco to create wonderfully crafted blends such as ‘El Viejo Continente’. His father ran one of Barcelona’s most famous specialist tobacco shops, so Daniel was able to learn all the ins and outs of our wonderful industry from a young age. In recognition of his long-standing and widely acknowledged expertise in cigar making, the committee organising the 100th anniversary of Gaudí’s work in Barcelona (2026) has commissioned him to create an exceptional line of cigars to mark this global event. We can look forward to it!
