Oscar Valladares 2012 by Oscar Connecticut Toro

The Leaf by Oscar is produced by Oscar Valladares Tobaccos in Honduras in a small manufactory that only produces very small quantities per year, but can process much higher quality raw tobacco than larger manufactories can do in runs of millions.

There are many premium cigars that are wrapped in cellophane, paper or cedar wood, but Oscar Valladares wraps every single cigar in a uniquely beautiful wrapper. This not only protects the superbly crafted premium cigar, but also encourages fermentation in every stage of storage to further refine the flavour. Exceptionally beautiful wrapper leaves are used for The Leaf by Oscar, whose veins appear to be barely visible and the surface looks silky like a Connecticut Shade, although quite thick leaves with a strong flavour are used for the Corojo and Maduro lines.

The Leaf Corojo is a medium to full-bodied cigar with a pronounced depth of flavour, which allows notes of pepper, toast and oak to be tasted, but still has a creamy effect when smoked.
