The blend, which features a Colorado Claro wrapper, differs from the original Alma Fuerte range. You’ll still find the characteristic depth and complexity of tobacco aged for over 10 years, but also a milder, sweeter and creamier profile, allowing a wider range of aficionados to enjoy the cigar at any time of day.

About Plasencia

Nestor Plasencia was born in Cuba in 1950 and was practically born into the world of tobacco and cigars. His family had been in the tobacco business for generations and had a wealth of experience in the cultivation and manufacture of cigars. In 1959, his family were forced to flee to Nicaragua due to the revolution and built a new life there with tobacco plantations. Following the Sandinista revolution in 1979, Nestor Plasencia lost all his plantations and factories once again, and they fled to Honduras. There, they once again established new plantations and opened cigar factories. And they did so with great success, for today they are among the leading cigar producers in Central America.

In 1986, around one million cigars were produced in their factories. Ten years later, they were already producing 33 million cigars. They are now also producing cigars in Nicaragua once again.

Cigar exterior: Velvety , glossy wrapper.
Cigar interior: Medium roll, well-made.
Smoke: Creamy , with a hint of sweetness and plenty of smoke.
Flavour: Wood and leather dominate, with a hint of pepper.
Burn: Good burn
