The Cosecha 149 line is a tribute to the country of Honduras, which opened its doors to the Plasencia family after the Nicaraguan revolution in 1979.
The 149th tobacco harvest
The Spanish word cosecha means "harvest". The Plasencia Cosecha 149 commemorates the Plasencia family's 149th annual tobacco harvest from 2014. The family felt that the aged tobacco from the 149th harvest was now ready for further processing and so this tobacco was released for cigar production. And it was worth the wait. The Cosecha 149 is a real flavour bomb!
A Honduran puro
The Plasencia Cosecha 149 is a Honduran Puro, for which tobacco from the various Honduran farms of the Plasencia family is used.
This medium to full-bodied blend is characterised by plenty of spice and crisp roasted aromas. These flavours are not typical of tobacco from Honduras. The smoking experience leads to a smoother, balanced medium finish. The Cosecha 149 comes in a box of 10 and the cigars are wrapped in a beautiful copper-coloured band.
