Ramón Allones is one of the great names in the history of Habanos. Founded in 1837, Ramón Allones is also one of the oldest of the well-known Habanos brands still in existence. Incidentally, Ramón Allones, who was born in Galicia, Spain, was the first cigar manufacturer to pack his Habanos in boxes adorned with lettering and bearing the brand’s emblem. He can therefore be regarded as a pioneer of the packaging method that is now universally recognised.
All cigars are made from a tobacco blend with filler and wrapper leaves from the Vuelta Abajo tobacco-growing region. They are characterised by their intense and complex flavour. The brand’s best-known cigars are the Gigantes and the Specially Selected. The Ramón Allones brand’s cigars are now manufactured at the Partagás factory.
The entire range consists of totalmente a mano, tripa larga – Habanos made entirely by hand.
