Ramón Allones is one of the great names in the history of Habanos. Founded in 1837, Ramón Allones is also one of the oldest of the well-known Habanos brands still in existence. Incidentally, Ramón Allones, who was born in Galicia, Spain, was the first cigar manufacturer to pack his Habanos in boxes adorned with lettering and bearing the brand’s emblem. He can therefore be regarded as a pioneer of this now universally recognised method of packaging.
All cigars are made from a tobacco blend with filler and wrapper leaves from the Vuelta Abajo tobacco-growing region. They are characterised by their intense and complex flavour. The best-known cigars of this brand are the Gigantes and the Specially Selected. Ramón Allones cigars are now produced at the Partagás factory.
The entire range consists of ‘totalmente a mano, tripa larga’ – Habanos made entirely by hand.
