Replacement sponge for Hydrocase

This special sponge absorbs an extremely large amount of water and can hold it without dripping. Furthermore, the sponge has the special property of always transporting the water to its surface, thereby maximising evaporation. 

The sponge can be poured over with boiling water for sterilisation without losing its special properties. It therefore has a very long service life. We recommend replacing it after around 2 years, as its extremely fine porosity means it is impossible to prevent the finest suspended particles from settling in the sponge’s capillaries, which causes its water-retention capacity to decrease slightly over the years.
