A tribute to ten years of excellence in the world of cigars

Rocky Patel celebrated his tenth anniversary in the cigar industry with the launch of the ‘Decade’ cigar series. This series is characterised by its luxurious, dark, oily Sumatra wrapper from Ecuador, whilst the binder and filler consist entirely of Nicaraguan tobaccos. The Torpedo vitola in particular received high acclaim, scoring 95 points from the renowned US magazine Cigar Aficionado.

In terms of flavour, the Rocky Patel Decade offers a creamy and sweet note, enriched with aromas of chocolate and coffee, which are harmoniously embedded in mild cedar wood notes. These cigars are not intended for beginners, but for experienced aficionados who appreciate a full-bodied and rich smoking experience. The smoke is dense and contains a wealth of natural, refined and subtly tart notes.

Originally, the release of these masterpieces was planned for late 2007. However, due to the enormous demand in the USA, international availability was delayed as Rocky Patel had to prioritise the domestic market. The Decade series achieved impressive ratings of 92, 93 and even 95 out of 100 points, making it an instant classic. In September 2014, the prices of all vitolas in this range were reduced by 10–15 per cent, making them even more attractive to collectors and connoisseurs.
