My Father
DESCRIPTION
The My Father Le Bijou 1922 were blended by Don Pepin Garcia in memory of his father, who was born in 1922. Garcia chose a Habano Oscura, also known as Pelo de Oro, which means angel hair, as the wrapper. This tobacco is considered the father of today's Corojo tobacco and originally comes from Cuba. The wrapper leaf gives the cigar a high flavour and strength, accompanied by a slight sweetness. It burns perfectly with a snow-white ash.
Incidentally, bijou means jewel in French, a fitting name for this cigar! The cigars were honoured with first place in the Top 25 Cigars 2015 and also made it into the Top 25 in 2013.
