Silencio Black the younger sister of the Silencio Red Dot

The Silencio Black cigars were introduced around a year after the classic Silencio Red Dot. A striking design element, the red dot in the letter "O", is likely to be familiar to many cigar lovers. In the USA, this red dot adorns the "O" of the Cohiba logo. However, due to trademark restrictions, these cigars cannot be sold under the original name in Europe. The brand was therefore renamed Silencio for the European market. In this country, Cuban brand names such as Havana, Vuelta Abajo, Cohiba and Montecristo may only be used for products that are actually produced in Cuba

Silencio Black: a flavourful experience for the discerning aficionado

The parent company Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) and its distributor General Cigars were convinced of the success of the blend in the USA and saw the potential for the European market. As a result, the Silencio Red Dot cigars were launched first in summer 2021, followed by the maduro variant presented here, the Silencio Black, around a year later

The flavour profile of the Silencio Black cigars

The Silencio Black cigars offer a multi-faceted flavour experience with notes of earth, coffee, leather, pepper and dark chocolate. A broadleaf from the USA is used as the wrapper. Underneath are Dominican Piloto tobaccos and a strong filler blend of Dominican, Mexican and Nicaraguan tobaccos
