Trinidad Media Luna

Although the brand is one of the newest in the Habanos range, it has been regarded as a special insider’s tip right from the start and has since become hugely popular. To mark this special occasion, Trinidad is adding three special vitolas to its standard range: Topes, Media Luna and Esmeralda.

Its format, with a ring gauge of 50 and a length of 115 mm, is called Marina – naturally featuring the famous pigtail. The filler, binder and dark, fermented wrapper all come from the world’s finest growing region, the Vuelta Abajo in Cuba. With balanced notes of wood, earth and leather, the full-bodied Media Luna offers the experienced aficionado an intense flavour experience.

The Trinidad Media Luna is presented in a Semi Boîte Nature box of 12 cigars, typical of the brand.

Tasting Report

Cigar exterior: Fine wrapper with a slightly oily sheen.
Cigar interior: Medium roll, good construction.
Smoke: Creamy and sweet with a medium smoke volume.
Flavour: Wood , earth and leather dominate, accompanied by a hint of pepper and coffee.
Burn: Good burn
