Named after the UNESCO World Heritage city of Trinidad on the south coast of Cuba, the cigar brand of the same name is characterised by a number of unique features. Like the Cohiba, it was initially only produced for the Cuban leadership and foreign diplomats. It was only very late, in 1998, that Trinidad was introduced to the general public. Fortunately, you could say! Until 2003, the Trinidad was traditionally only produced in one format, the Fundadores.
