DESCRIPTION
Christopher Columbus set sail with a small fleet of three ships: the Niña, the Pinta and the Santa Maria. In 1492, he was searching for a sea route to Asia. What he found is well known: on 12 October 1492, Columbus and his ships landed in the Caribbean.
Villiger 1492 Discovery Line
In honour of Christopher Columbus, his crew and the ships used at the time , Villiger has decided to launch the Villiger 1492 Discovery range. An artist depicts the three ships that bravely set sail to make discoveries which are still known and loved all over the world today.
