The 1731 Rum Range comprises three unique regional rum blends and three single-origin rums, each sourced from a single country stretching from Central America to the tip of the South American continent. 1731 Fine & Rare represents a unique range of rums, each with an unmistakable character and sourced from the Caribbean and South America. Great importance is placed on natural colour and authentic flavour, without the use of any additives.

The history books mark 1731 as the year in which the British Royal Navy began distributing a daily ration of rum to its sailors. The daily rum ration was the highlight of the day. This popular tradition continued for over 300 years until the Admiralty ended the daily rum ration on 31 July 1970 – now known as Black Tot Day.
