DESCRIPTION

A mahogany-coloured rum that has been aged for at least 12 years in small oak casks. At the “Caribbean Week 2000” rum festival, the 12-year-old Appleton Estate won the Silver Award in the Premium Rums category.

The Appleton Estate distillery is based in Jamaica, in the exceptionally fertile Nassau Valley, where an ideal microclimate prevails. The distillery owns 4,400 hectares of land and harvests 216,000 tonnes of sugar cane annually. The Black River also provides very soft water, which is perfect for distilling Appleton rum.
