This full-bodied multi-terroir blend combines tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua with a smooth wrapper from Ecuador. The result is a medium- to full-bodied cigar with a clear structure, a creamy texture and a varied flavour profile. In the compact Robusto format, it unfolds earthy, roasted aromas, dark chocolate, leather and wood, before more delicate floral, fruity and spicy nuances come to the fore. Expressive multi-terroir blend

The AVO Expresivo Robusto is crafted in Honduras and combines tobaccos from several major growing regions in Central America. The Ecuadorian wrapper provides smoothness and a delicate creaminess. Beneath this lies a Honduran binder, whilst the filler combines tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua. Leaves from Jalapa contribute natural sweetness and floral notes. Tobaccos from Condega add roasted nuances, whilst Honduran Jamastrán tobacco lends the blend earthy depth, spice and a solid structure.

From roasted aromas to floral spice

Initially, the cigar reveals a robust combination of earth, roasted nuts and dark chocolate. The smoke is dense yet pleasantly creamy. In the middle third, distinct notes of leather and cedar wood develop, accompanied by a subtle mineral component. Later, spices, dried fruit and floral accents emerge. The natural sweetness of the Nicaraguan tobaccos balances the stronger flavours and ensures that the smoking experience remains harmonious and approachable despite its intensity.

A compact format with plenty of character

Measuring 127 millimetres in length with a ring gauge of 52, the AVO Expresivo Robusto offers a concentrated flavour experience lasting approximately 45 to 60 minutes. The diameter of around 21 millimetres ensures a cool smoke and a generous smoke volume. This format is ideal for a moment of conscious enjoyment where robust flavours are desired, without having to set aside several hours. Smoking it slowly brings out the creamy, woody and fruity nuances particularly well and preserves the balanced structure right through to the finish.
