DESCRIPTION

Berta Rocconivo Grappa is made from the Barbera d’Asti grape variety. It is aged for eight years in oak barrels.

Francesco Berta was born in 1866; he grew up in the vineyards of Piedmont and learnt how to make wine at an early age. However, his interest lay more in grappa, and so he devoted himself entirely to its production. Soon, the Berta estate was established in the heart of Piedmont, between Langhe and Monferrato, and is now successfully run by his two grandsons, Gianfranco and Enrico.
