A Promise

The EPC Pledge is a line within the Perez-Carillo range. It follows on from the Encore (Cigar of the Year 2018) and La Historia. After six months of blending and testing by Ernesto Perez-Carillo, he finally found the flavour profile he had been seeking. The Pledge reflects the evolution of Ernesto’s craftsmanship over the years. It is a promise from Ernesto to cigar enthusiasts and marks another milestone. Initially, the Pledge will be launched in two sizes. According to Ernesto, further sizes will be added in future as soon as the blend meets his standards.

The EPC Pledge is a box-pressed cigar comprising a Connecticut Havana wrapper from the USA, a binder from Ecuador and a filler from Nicaragua. The result is a full-bodied cigar. It offers notes of dark chocolate, molasses, liquorice and a hint of pepper.
