The story behind Enso Whisky

The name ‘Ensō’ originates from Japanese calligraphy and symbolises a hand-drawn circle – a sign of perfection, simplicity and the free expression of the moment. This philosophy is reflected in the whisky’s production. Enso Japanese Whisky comes from one of Japan’s up-and-coming distilleries, which is passionately dedicated to the art of whisky-making. Japanese whisky culture was inspired by Scottish distilling methods in the early 20th century, but has since developed into a style in its own right. Today, Japanese whisky is regarded as synonymous with perfection, purity and the highest level of craftsmanship.
