Talisker Storm Single Malt Whisky 70cl

After the Talisker Whisky Distillery was founded in 1831 by the MacAskill brothers on the Scottish island of Skye, it suffered a few strokes of fate. Among other things, a fire destroyed the stills in 1960. When new stills were purchased, great care was taken to ensure that they did not differ from the old ones in order to retain the original flavour of the whisky. After all, it's not just the casks that affect the aroma and flavour profile of a whisky! In spring 2013, the distillery launched Talisker Storm: a single malt with no age statement and very little information about its production. A little secrecy never hurt anyone. This is a rather smoky whisky with sweet, salty and peppery notes.
