Mild smoke, surprisingly complex
Beneath its light Connecticut wrapper (Shade, Colorado Claro), the Gurkha Royal Challenge reveals a profile that starts off pleasantly smooth and then builds in flavour. Three sizes – one style, different effects

Ein wahrer Genuss
Sehr angenehme Cigarre mit einem sehr komplexen Aroma welches an Kokosnuss und Caramel erinnert. Der Grund-Geschmack ist holzig und es entsteht die Erinnerung an Madeira- oder Portwein-Fässern. Sehr guter Zug von Anfang bis zum Schluss. Nie „beissig“ und immer gut im Geschmack. Ein wahrer Genuss!

Überraschend gut
Ich habe diese als Geschenk erhalten und wusste deshalb nicht was mich erwartet. Zu meiner Überraschung hat sie mir wirklich gut geschmeckt. Feine milde holzige Aromen, kaum bitter. Wird nicht die letzte sein.

Sieht gut aus, aber…,
Eine sehr gute Cigarre, nur die Banderollen welche bald
bei allen Cigarren überhand nehmen, haben einfach den
Nachteil, dass man beim wegnehmen nicht das Deckblatt verletzt. Speziell
wenn feine Deckblätter verwendet werden und die Banderollen etwas kleben. Es gibt Topmarken mit einfachen
Banderollen und die genügen.

Feine Cigarre, gute Verarbeitung welche Spass macht zu geniessen.
Eigentlich muss ja jeder für sich selber Entscheiden was Freude macht. Beim Wein wie bei den Cigarren ist es schlussendlich Geschmacksache. Diese Cigarre gehört für mich zu den besten Produkten im breitgefächerten Angebot.

Rollercoaster
Der Beginn ist steil mit gut spürbaren bitteren bzw. scharfen Noten. Nach kurzer Zeit wird sie aber seh handzahm mild und cremig. Das Gewicht ist niedrig und somit der smoke relativ „kurz“. In der handzahmen Phase kommen durchaus sehr angenehme nussige und holzige Noten zum Vorschein, die bis zu Schluss bleiben. Alles in allem also eine tolle und nicht sehr aufdringliche Zigarre. Preis Leistung? Muss jeder für sich entscheiden.
