True to the motto ‘only the best is good enough’, this range features a Connecticut Shade wrapper that has been aged for over 10 years. This makes it the oldest and, at the same time, the most precious the market has to offer. The wrapper imparts an incredibly refined aroma to the cigar, with mild, earthy and woody roasted notes taking centre stage. This is complemented by a delicate and mild creaminess.

Rocky’s first eponymous brand, Rocky Patel Vintage Cigars, became his flagship range and comprises five vintage series: 1990, 1992, 1999, 2003 and 2006. Since the company’s rebranding in 2003, Rocky has launched numerous best-selling brands, including The Edge, Decade, Fifteenth Anniversary, Royale, Java, Twentieth Anniversary and Sun Grown Maduro – his highest-rated cigar in Cigar Aficionado magazine, which received 95 points and was named the No. 2 cigar of 2016. Although Rocky Patel is honoured and humbled by this accolade, he is far from satisfied. He will never rest on his laurels, as there is still more perfection to be achieved.

Cigar interior: Medium roll, good construction.
Smoke: Creamy with a hint of sweetness, plenty of smoke volume.
Flavour: Wood , nut and grass
Burn: Good burn
