Hanami Dry Gin 70cl

The word ‘Hanami’ means ‘flower viewing’ in Japanese and draws on the Far Eastern country’s annual tradition, celebrated every April, of celebrating the blossoming of the cherry trees. However, this dry gin does not originate from Japan, but from the Melchers Distillery in the Netherlands. The distillery has been producing whisky, vodka, rum, liqueurs and other spirits since 1837. The base of the Hanami Dry Gin, which won an award in 2015, is also distilled according to a centuries-old, traditional recipe. Nine secret, carefully selected botanicals, along with the unmistakable cherry blossom, contribute to its refined flavour. This is likely why the 43% spirit was given this name and is bottled in an elegant glass bottle featuring a cherry blossom design.
