Behind the ‘LAMPERT CIGARS’ brand is the Austrian lawyer Dr Stefan Lampert.
The idea of creating his own cigar brand came to him in 2016 whilst on holiday in Thailand. Like many other holidaymakers, Stefan took advantage of the wide range of bespoke suits on offer and wanted to apply this concept of bespoke tailoring to a cigar.
Just as with a high-quality made-to-measure suit, every customer has their own requirements and preferences.
This led to the creation of the first cigar range, ‘MY CIGAR LAB’. The aim of this brand was to give customers the opportunity to create their own handmade premium cigars, just as they might in a ‘laboratory’.
After the MY CIGAR LAB range was very well received in the cigar world, the idea arose for a perfect cigar that evokes holidays and relaxation. Stefan tried out several tobacco blends, but only one really stuck in his mind: the one with the salty flavour.
