DESCRIPTION

The ‘Old Deer’ is our classic whisky, which is why it is also known as the ‘Classic’. It is a 100% barley malt whisky, produced from a blend of unsmoked barley malt of the finest provenance and fermented with a selected English stout yeast. Even whilst the malt mash is fermenting in the fermentation cellar, the nose can detect numerous vegetal and fruity aromas, which will be reflected in the final product.

Through triple distillation, we give ‘Old Deer’ its incomparably delicate and smooth, malt-forward flavour. Ageing in sherry and Chardonnay casks gives ‘Old Deer’ exceptional complexity, fruity notes and an elegant finish.
