Michter's US *1 Kentucky Straight Rye 70cl

Master Distiller Willie Pratt has over 40 years’ experience in the whisky industry. He is responsible for production at Michter’s and works according to the principle ‘No whisky until it’s ready’. He therefore only approves the whisky for bottling once he believes it has reached its optimal level of maturity. At Michter’s, they also rely on the use of heat cycles and various filtration techniques, which are tailored to the different types of whisky. The Straight Rye Whisky, made from American rye, is aged for five to eight years in new, charred American white oak casks. This gives it its spicy flavour.
