You can find cigars online with us since 2009
Since 2009 we have been able to supply an ever-growing clientele with fine cigars and accessories. What once began with a small Cuban range has now grown to over 2600 different cigars and we are still a long way from reaching our goal. Our humidor covers an area of 225m² with a room height of 3.5 metres. This results in 787.5 cubic metres of air-conditioned storage volume in which over 1500 running metres of shelf space are installed. The cigars are stored in a constant climate. Cigar quality & storage
Quality is our top priority. In addition to the quality controls carried out by our suppliers, we also carry out our own quality controls. Every single cigar is inspected by us before dispatch and the boxes are opened at random. If something is not right, we look for the easiest possible way to rectify the problem.
Constant 70% humidity 24/7
Our cigars are stored at 70% relative humidity. Humidification is guaranteed at all times by a redundant system and is monitored and recorded 24 hours a day.
Cigar dispatch
We dispatch all products from our own warehouse in Schaffhausen. This is the only way we can guarantee the best quality. The cigars are sealed in food film before dispatch to ensure an optimum climate during shipping. The cigars are dispatched by Swiss Post. All parcels are sent with Priority/A-Post.
Davidoff cigars
Since 1 January 2019, we have been running an official Davidoff Depot with Davidoff cigars and accessories. You can find all information here: Davidoff Depot.

Cuban cigars
We obtain our Cuban cigars from Intertabak AG, the official importer of Cuban cigars in Switzerland. Quality is our top priority, which is why all cigars are checked before despatch in addition to the importers' checks.

Swiss online guarantee
Zigarrenversand.ch has been a member of Handeslverband.swiss since 2022. It brings together over 400 retailers. With over 460 online shops and 2,850 points of sale with 3,000,000 m2 of retail space, the members realise annual sales of around CHF 21 billion. Of which CHF 11 billion online and CHF 10 billion over-the-counter. Around 80 million parcels are sent in Switzerland every year, representing around 70 % of the B2C online retail volume.
To become a member, retailers must adhere to a code of honour and are audited in this regard.
