How we store our cigars
Buying cigars online is a matter of trust and an important point is how the cigars are stored. We store over 250,000 cigars in our humidor (as of April 2022), which is why storage is particularly important to us. We rely on the Huminator system from Marc André. This constantly measures the humidity with an external precision sensor and switches on three independent humidifiers as required. The system is installed twice for fail-safe operation. In addition, a ventilation system circulates the air in the humidor every 10 minutes to ensure that the exact same humidity level is maintained throughout. The humidity is set at 70% and fluctuates by a maximum of +- 1.5%
The climate always in view
We monitor the climate in the humidor with several CIGSOR sensors. These sensors measure the humidity and temperature every hour, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These values are stored online and can be called up by us at any time using a smartphone. If something is wrong in the humidor, we are immediately notified by the sensor on our smartphones. No matter what time of day or where we are. This allows us to guarantee a perfect climate around the clock.
