Trinidad Robusto Extra – Origin & Format

Hand-rolled in Cuba – a long-filler made from select Vuelta Abajo tobaccos. The vitola de galera is known as ‘Dobles’ and measures 155 mm with a ring gauge of 50 (Ø ≈ 19.8 mm). The result is a powerful yet refined cigar with a rich aromatic profile. Characteristic of Trinidad: the elegant pigtail cap. The Robusto Extra is packaged in elegant presentations – including boxes of 12 or packs of 3 – ideal as a gift and for the humidor.

Character & Flavours

The Trinidad Robusto Extra is medium-bodied with a creamy, silky texture. Prominent notes of cedarwood and subtle spice blend with cream, roasted coffee and delicate hints of cocoa; depending on the individual cigar, hints of honey and a subtle sweetness may also emerge. The conical cap design concentrates the interplay of flavours, leading to a long, rounded finish – typical of Trinidad: elegant, multi-layered, never harsh.

Presentation, smoking time & pairing

Thanks to meticulous rolling, the Robusto Extra offers a reliable draw, a smooth, even burn and a stable ash. In practice, the smoking time is around 60–80 minutes, depending on the pace of the draw.
