Since 1845, the Robaina family has been growing tobacco continuously on their fertile vegas in Cuchillas de Barbacoa, an area situated in the heart of the renowned Vuelta Abajo tobacco-growing region in San Luis. This long-standing tradition forms the foundation for the quality and reputation of Vega Robaina cigars.

A Tribute to Cuban Tobacco Growers

The Vega Robaina brand was launched in 1997 to pay tribute to all Cuban vegueros (tobacco growers). It embodies the legacy of Don Alejandro Robaina, one of the most renowned vegueros, famous for his exceptional wrappers. Vega Robaina thus stands for the immeasurable knowledge and experience of the many unsung tobacco farmers whose dedication makes Habanos the world’s most sought-after premium products.

Anniversary Edition and Rarities

To mark the 15th anniversary of 5TH Avenue, the special ‘Doble’ format was developed for the Vega Robaina Robaina cigar. Today, this cigar is one of the most sought-after Habanos rarities amongst collectors and testifies to the brand’s ongoing innovation and exclusivity.
