DESCRIPTION
This rum is a blend of several Caribbean rums that has been aged for six years in five different oak barrels using the solera method. These previously contained cognac, whisky, sherry, Bordeaux and Rioja. The "Deadhead" is produced by Iconic Brands Inc., which is based in the Mexican state of Veracruz. The bottle in which the rum is bottled is particularly striking. This is modelled on the shrivelled, dried-up head of a deceased person, a so-called tsantsa. It is a kind of homage to the death cult of the former advanced civilisations of Latin American countries.

Schrumpfkopf
Die Flasche ist einfach nur cool und ein absoluter Blickfang. Der Rum selbst ist im oberen Mittelfeld anzusiedeln von der Qualität her. Er hat zwar ein ansprechendes Aroma doch fehlt es ihm leider an Körper und Rückgrat.
