The brand name Zino is derived from Zino Davidoff’s first name. The brand was originally established when Davidoff cigars were still manufactured in Cuba. Due to the US trade embargo, Davidoff cigars could no longer be sold in the US. Since 1990, Davidoff cigars have been manufactured predominantly in the Dominican Republic, which is why they are once again available in the US. However, the Zino brand has managed to hold its own and, alongside high-quality cigars, also offers accessories such as humidors, cutters, cases and lighters.
