Products of Silencio
In the USA, Silencio cigars have already gained a considerable following, although there they are not called Silencio but Cohiba. As there is a trade embargo against Cuba in the USA, the name is not an issue. In Europe, however, the name ‘Cohiba’ is a registered trademark, which is why the cigar is called ‘Silencio’ here.
The cigars are produced by General Cigars, which is part of the Scandinavian Tobacco Group, a group that also owns the Macanudo and Balmoral brands.
