A masterpiece
The tradition of AVO can be found in every format of the XO series. The tobacco leaves for these fine cigars are allowed to mature for at least six years before they are skilfully rolled. A masterpiece for special occasions! The strikingly soft yet full-bodied, complex, medium-strength composition with woody notes, spices and dry and sweet fruit flavours.
Musical tradition
The XO line is divided into two series. On the one hand we have the AVO XO Quartetto series, which includes the smaller formats, and on the other hand the AVO XO Trio series, which ends with the large Maestoso. All formats in the AVO XO series have been given names derived from music. All six formats in the AVO XO series share a harmonious composition, as they are stored until they reach full maturity and are withheld from sale.
It is said of this exquisite line of cigars that a wealth of knowledge about the cultivation, care and harvesting of tobaccos, combined with the high art of harmonious and careful processing, are responsible for their very high quality. The line is made from selected, fully matured Piloto filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic. Dominican Olor leaves are used for the binder and to complete the line, the cigars are wrapped in selected Connecticut leaves. A cigar line that will spoil all aficionados.Tasting report

A wonderful cigar!
I’d had an Avo quite a while ago and I don’t regret treating myself to another one: a wonderful cigar! Very impressive even just from the outside.
Mild yet full of flavour. Creamy. Sensational burn.

For me, it’s the best AVO
I think the XO Intermezzo is the tastiest AVO. A unique smoking and tasting experience. Very delicate yet spicy – it has a ‘creamy’ quality to it...
