13°51'N, 86°6'W: Welcome to the Jalapa Valley. Here, north-east of Estelí and Condega, close to the border with Honduras, rich, fertile soil provides excellent conditions for growing tobacco. The leaves from this region produce the characteristic flavour of our Nicaraguan cigars. And emphatically demonstrates the special quality of a regional tobacco culture. 

The truly precious things in life are rare. Like the Rosado wrapper leaf of our Nicaraguan cigars. Connoisseurs know how difficult this leaf is to grow. And appreciate it all the more when smoking. Traditional manual labour is also becoming increasingly rare. Yet it is this that turns a simple cigar into a hallmark of good flavour: from the cultivation of the tobacco to the three-year maturing process of the leaves and the rolling of the cigar - our employees supervise the entire production process directly on site.
