Humidifier design

Boveda is a bi-directional humidity control product specially designed for use in countertop and travel humidors and cases. Fluctuations in the moisture balance are prevented and, unlike conventional humidification systems, Boveda guarantees a constant moisture content, which preserves the natural oils and sugars of the cigars and thus enables unrestricted smoking pleasure. Each packet reacts to the current temperature and humidity in the immediate environment by adding or releasing small amounts of moisture. Boveda contains a saturated solution of natural salts and pure water, protected by a membrane that works in both directions. This ensures that the selected humidity level is reliably maintained.

Can the humidifier be refilled?

No, the Boveda humidipacks are disposable humidifiers and release the moisture immediately after opening the packaging.
