Cohiba Behike BHK 52

In 2010, Habanos S.A. unveiled what is probably Cohiba's best-kept secret: the birth of the super-premium Cohiba Behike line. Alongside the popular Línea Clásica, Línea 1492 and Línea Maduro 5 series, Cohiba Behike is now the fourth series to enrich the top Cohiba brand. The name Behike comes from the language of the Taínos, the indigenous people of Cuba, and refers to the medicine man and master of ceremonies who was regarded as the spiritual leader of the tribe.

The Behike series comprises three exclusive formats: Cohiba BHK 52, Cohiba BHK 54 and Cohiba BHK 56, with the numbers indicating the ring gauge of the cigars. A characteristic feature of these Vítolas is the famous pigtail at the head of the cigars, which is already familiar from the Coronas Especiales and Lanceros of the Línea Clásica.

However, due to the limited availability of the tobaccos used, these cigars are only produced in limited quantities. For the first time in the world of Cuban premium cigars, Cohiba Behike uses a fourth filler tobacco called Fortaleza 4, also known as Medio Tiempo. These leaves, which grow at the top of the tobacco plants and mature in the open air, give the Behike an incomparable variety of flavours and a pronounced strength that is unparalleled in the world of cigars.

Cohiba Behike Habanos are an exclusive choice that appeals to experienced and discerning aficionados in particular. Only the finest tobaccos from selected plantations in the San Luis and San Juan y Martinez regions of the Vuelta Abajo are used for these exceptional cigars. Specially trained torcedores are employed by the renowned Cohiba manufactory El Laguito to produce the Línea Cohiba Behike cigars with the utmost precision and care.

The packaging and design of the Behike are just as exclusive as the cigars themselves. They are presented exclusively in high-quality lacquered boxes containing ten cigars each. The cigars are fitted with a completely new ring, which features two holograms and is therefore unique in its design
