De Olifant Modern Mini Sumatra – a delicately spicy treat in a mini format

The Modern Mini series combines centuries-old tobacco craftsmanship from Kampen (Holland) with modern practicality for everyday use. The Sumatra wrapper, renowned for its fine texture and elegant spice, defines the mild to medium-bodied character of these cigarillos. Despite their small size, the Minis offer a surprising amount of flavour, superb craftsmanship and a pleasantly smooth smoking experience – just as one has come to expect from De Olifant since 1826.

Flavour profile & smoking characteristics

On the palate, the Modern Mini Sumatra opens with light woody and grassy notes, accompanied by a subtle natural sweetness and gentle spice. The smoke is smooth, creamy and pleasantly mild, with a medium body that carries the flavour harmoniously. As the cigar progresses, subtle nutty notes, gentle roasted aromas and a fine balance develop – typical of Sumatra tobaccos. The overall profile remains consistently elegant, light and accessible.

Ideal for short, elegant moments of enjoyment

Thanks to their compact size, the Modern Mini Sumatra is perfect for short breaks or spontaneous moments of enjoyment in everyday life. The cigarillos are ready to smoke straight away and require no preparation whatsoever. Their elegant tin also makes them a practical companion for when you’re on the go, whilst reliably protecting the minis from damage or loss of flavour.
