The Perla measures 4 inches, or around 102 mm, and has a ring gauge of 42. The diameter is approximately 16.7 mm. Thanks to its compact length, the flavours develop quickly and intensely, whilst the slim ring gauge emphasises the ratio of wrapper to filler. Bribón states that the Perla takes approximately 25 minutes to smoke. It thus offers the full enjoyment of a long filler without requiring the time needed for a Robusto or Toro.
