EGM Cigars

DESCRIPTION

The EGM Encantos pays homage to the classic Cuban cigar tradition – slender, elegant and deliberately crafted for finesse rather than power. With its exceptionally long, delicate silhouette, it makes a real statement in the humidor whilst also being a wonderfully ‘social’ smoke: ideal for relaxed conversations, morning coffee or quiet moments when you want to savour the subtle nuances of a boutique cigar. Anyone who loves Lanceros formats will feel right at home here – and those who have shunned them until now might just discover the charm of slender vitolas with this very cigar.

Laguito No. 1: the famous, sophisticated format

The Encantos is rolled in the prestigious Laguito No. 1 vitola – a format renowned for its elegant appearance, whilst also placing high demands on the art of rolling. Measuring 192 mm in length with a slender 39 ring gauge, this cigar demands precision in both blending and rolling. That is precisely where its appeal lies: the wrapper takes centre stage, and the flavours often come across as clearer, more direct and more finely balanced than with thicker ring gauges. The result is a smoke that strikes a balance between light and medium – perfect if you’re looking for elegance and structure.

Dominican Puro – Craftsmanship from the Cibao Valley

EGM crafts the Encantos entirely by hand (Totalmente a Mano) in the Dominican Republic. As a Dominican Puro, the wrapper, binder and filler are all made from tobaccos sourced from the famous Cibao Valley. This origin is synonymous with aromatic clarity, clean fermentation and a pleasant, natural sweetness. This signature character comes into its own particularly well in the slender Laguito format: creamy, delicately spicy and with a calm, refined profile that never becomes overpowering.

Outstanding elegance for connoisseurs – and the perfect companion for an espresso

The Encantos has been awarded high marks by an international tasting panel – fine proof that the focus here is not just on design, but on genuine quality. In everyday life, it proves to be the ideal companion to an espresso or café crème, but also to a mild rum or a light single malt. If you’re looking for a cigar that exudes ‘quiet luxury’ whilst still offering long-lasting enjoyment, this vitola is a first-class choice.
