The Maya already knew where to find the best climatic conditions, and thousands of years ago they cultivated tobacco in the area around Santa Rosa de Copán, a cool, hilly region in Honduras, close to the border with Guatemala and El Salvador. It is precisely there that the multi-award-winning Flor de Copán cigars are handcrafted. Since the launch of Flor de Copán, the brand has enjoyed a success story that is second to none – a brand that captures the spirit of the times and impresses with an outstanding value for money. Tolles Format und ein toller Smoke zwischendurch
Ein netter smoke für zwischendurch oder auch so da die Rauchdauer sehr kurz ist! Geschmacklich ist sie in den ersten Zügen etwas würzig leichte Pfeffernote ansonsten sind die Aromen eher mild und nussig. Das Format ist nach meinem Geschmack und die Verarbeitung wie gewohnt ausgezeichnet, so wie man es von Flor de Copan kennt!! Ich Rauche sie gerne zu einem starken Kaffee. Der Zugwiederstand ist angenehm leicht ! Optisch ein Hingucker mit der Zedernholzbandarole! Hat einen Festen Platz bei mir im Humidor!

Grossartige Zigarre für kurze Pausen
Ich bevorzuge Zigarren welche eine Rauchdauer von mehr als 60 Minuten bieten. Habe ich zwischendurch mal nur kurz Zeit für etwas Genuss und Entspannung, greife ich zu einer Short Robusto von Flor de Copan. Ich empfinde das Aroma, die Stärke sowie das Rauchvolumen als sehr angenehm.

Geschmackssache
Die Zigarre hat einen angenehmen Kaltgeruch der Lust auf mehr macht. Bereits nach dem Kaltzug merkte ich das evtl. etwas nicht Stimmt. Der Zugwiederstand war viel zu gering. Nach dem Anzünden schmeckte ich trockene ehr säuerliche Noten herraus die mit einer gewissen Würze gepaart waren. Fazit: Ich musste das gute Stück nach der Hälfte weglegen. Nicht mein Geschmack. Oder einfach nur ein Produktionsfehler?
