Top-class cigar, unique and intense flavours
Mild to begin with, good draw and good burn. It then quickly becomes more intense; dark fruits, blueberry, compote, chocolate – very refined! From about halfway through, coffee and nutty flavours also emerge, whilst remaining very well-rounded and slightly sweet. Fine coffee, roasted and nutty flavours then dominate, along with a hint of wood, yet it remains very fruity and well-rounded – truly exquisite. It also becomes stronger! The burn was a little uneven in the final third and the wrapper had a few small cracks, but this didn’t detract from the enjoyment – though that’s why I’m giving it only 4 stars. Otherwise, excellent value for money.
Given its strength and smoking time (a good 80 minutes for me), it’s not really a cigar for beginners. However, if you’ve already smoked a few cigars and fancy trying out intense and very refined flavours, and you’ve got a good hour to spare, it’s definitely worth a try! I’ve reordered it.

Well worth a try
In my view, one of the best that Kristoff has to offer. Pleasant flavours of dark chocolate, hazelnut and a hint of dry wood, all of which blend together very well. So far, they’ve all been neatly crafted, with no major uneven burning and a good draw.
