The Montecristo A was introduced in 1971 and is currently the longest Cuban cigar in the range. With a length of 23.5 cm and a 47 ring gauge, it can be smoked for around two and a half hours. The typical Montecristo flavours such as earth and coffee come to the fore.
Availability of the Montecristo A
The cigar is rarely available. This is because it is only produced in small quantities. The reason for this is that wrapper leaves of this size are very rare.
