Moonshine Original is made from 80% maize grown in Tennessee. The remaining 20 per cent is a secret and gives the Original its distinctive flavour.

With the relaxation of distilling laws in Tennessee, the family of Ole Smoky Moonshine founder Joe Baker saw an opportunity to enable the long-established company to make the leap into the official world of whisky distillers. The result is evident both in the distillery’s unique products and in the fact that the Ole Smoky distillery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, is now the most visited distillery in the USA. And this despite the fact that it has only been in existence for three years!

Tasting Notes
Colour: Colourless

Taste: Light notes of smoke, nutmeg and grain on the nose. On the palate, it offers popcorn and a hint of sweetness. A long, smoky finish.
