The PDR 1878 Santiago Maduro Toro comes from the renowned PDR Cigars factory in Tamboril, Dominican Republic. Under the guidance of Master Blender Abe Flores, hand-rolled cigars are crafted there with great precision and a clear focus on aromatic depth. In the Maduro variant, the Santiago series is more robust and darker, featuring an oily Broadleaf wrapper that delivers intense flavours, a delicately structured sweetness and a particularly full-bodied smoke – characteristics that are particularly evident in the Toro format.
