Solide verarbeitet, aber geschmacklich absolut flach und enttäuschend
Die PDR VLR Connecticut Robusto ist handwerklich absolut sauber verarbeitet. Das hellere Ecuador-Connecticut-Deckblatt sieht optisch ansprechend aus, das Zugverhalten ist gut und der Abbrand läuft völlig problemlos.
Geschmacklich war die Zigarre für mich allerdings eine totale Enttäuschung. Dem verwendeten Blend fehlt es von Anfang an komplett an Tiefe, Körper oder irgendeiner Form von angenehmer Aromenstruktur. Der Rauch wirkt extrem flach, leer und völlig unspannend, da das milde Deckblatt und die junge Einlage keinerlei nennenswerte Würze oder Cremigkeit transportieren. Es schmeckt schlichtweg nach fast nichts, wodurch überhaupt kein Genuss aufkommt.
Handwerklich top, aber der Inhalt konnte mich absolut nicht abholen. Für mich definitiv kein Wiederkaufskandidat.
