Care instructions for Riedel glasses

Please note the following when washing in the dishwasher:

• Riedel glasses are dishwasher-safe!
• To avoid scratches, avoid direct contact with other glass or metal. If available, use a glass rack.
• To prevent stains, use soft water
• To remove stains, use white vinegar.

When washing the glasses by hand, please note:

• Rinse the glass under warm water (use washing-up liquid and rinse the glass thoroughly).
• Polishing the glass: Use two cloths; never hold the glass by the base to polish the bowl!
• Stem breakage: This is caused solely by incorrect handling = applying pressure, twisting or bending the stem.
• Storage: Never store the glass in kitchen cupboards, as odours may transfer to the glass.

Tea towels

• Wash these with odourless soap (to kill bacteria).
• Never use fabric softener when rinsing your tea towels (to prevent a greasy film forming on the surface)
