Savinelli Balsa Filters, 9 mm, 200 pieces

Savinelli Balsa Filters 9mm, 200 pieces – a natural filter solution for regular pipe smoking

The Savinelli Balsa Filters 9mm, 200 pieces, are the ideal choice for pipe smokers who want a natural, flavour-friendly and, at the same time, very practical filter solution. The Savinelli Balsa system is based on balsa wood and has been developed to absorb condensation and moisture effectively. This results in a noticeably drier and more pleasant smoking experience, without compromising the tobacco’s typical character. The 200-piece box is particularly appealing to regular smokers, as it provides a convenient supply for everyday use and means you need to restock less frequently.

Natural balsa wood with high filtering performance

The Savinelli Balsa 9mm filter is made from balsa wood and absorbs condensation and moisture effectively. According to the retailer, scientific analyses carried out by the EURATOM Research Centre in Ispra and the Chemical Environmental Technology Inc. Research Centre in the USA have shown that the filter can filter out up to 75% of nicotine and 91% of tar, whilst preserving the aroma of the tobacco. Savinelli itself describes the system as a natural moisture-absorbing mechanism with no additives or chemical materials. The porous balsa fibres help to reduce moisture in the shank, thereby promoting a clean, pleasant smoking experience with low draw resistance.

200-pack Big Box for a handy supply

With 200 filters in the pack, this version is ideal for pipe smokers who use their favourite filters regularly. The filters are designed for pipes with a 9 mm bore and are explicitly listed by Savinelli as part of the well-known Balsa System. Retailers also describe the Big Box as particularly suitable for smokers who appreciate an unobstructed draw. It is important to note the care instructions: the filter should be changed after every smoke. For anyone looking for a large, practical and brand-appropriate stock-up pack, this 200-piece box is a very sensible choice.
