After working with his father, Hendrik Kelner, for 20 years, Hendrik Kelner junior (photo) decided to open his own manufactory "Kelner Boutique Factory" in Santiago, Dominican Republic, in 2012 in order to apply his many years of knowledge, creativity and passion to the production of fine cigars. Following the motto "less is more", Hendrik and his small, experienced team of 15 cigar rollers develop high-quality cigars for discerning aficionados. It is above all Hendrik's curiosity to constantly work with new tobaccos that makes "Smoking Jacket" so extraordinarily exciting.

Hendrik Kelner junior uses a hybrid from the family's own tobacco plantation for the wrapper leaf. The filler consists of 40% Dominican, 40% Nicaraguan and 20% Peruvian Pelo de Oro.
